  7. Duration:
    The Fellowship will have the duration of 12 months, with the possibility of renewal for additional periods, in exclusiveness regime.

    Subject of Activities:
    The Scientific Meetings and Conference Organiser will assist our scientists in the organization and execution of meetings, conferences and training courses. She/he will be responsible for all necessary administrative tasks (such as internal and external communication, flight and accommodation arrangements, price negotiations, final reporting, etc.) to guarantee the success of our scientific events and to enhance the professional image of CF-Research in the scientific community.

    Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
    -Fluent in Portuguese and English, both writing and speaking.
    -Administration degree or diploma necessary. 1-2 years of conference planning and execution with increasing responsibility.
    -Ability to calculate figures and amounts (such as discounts, interest, commission) and to apply mathematical concepts to understand financial statements, budgets and cash flow.
    -Ability to solve practical problems and deal with different variables in situations where only limited standardisation exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions made available in written, oral or schedule form.
    -Must be proactive, logical, efficient, effective and have multi-tasking abilities. Must also be well organised and have effective time management skills to work within established timelines.
    -Driver’s license.

    -This position is suited to a self-motivated, professional person who can confidently work with a variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds. Diplomacy, tact and a sense of humor are important to the success of this person.

    Monthly Stipend:
    Monthly fellowship offered for this position is dependent on suitability and experience of the selected candidate and according to the regulations of the Champalimaud Foundation.
